Since it’s inception in 2008, Elle DuPree, MSW has served as Clinical Director of Butterfly House, an exclusive Recovery Residence for Boomer & Older Adult Women located in Wellington, Florida.  She works closely with the women who are experiencing cognitive decline primarily due to drug and alcohol abuse.  She facilitates experiential therapy groups and offers individual cognitive stimulation sessions for the women at Butterfly House.

Ms. DuPree also works part-time at the Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center (MWC), a division of the College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University.  She has designed and is currently facilitating a couples’ program at MWC where the identified individual who is diagnosed with a memory disorder and/or cognitive impairment and their loved one can learn how to live and love together under these circumstances.  MWC is one of the fifteen designated memory clinics in the state of Florida.

Ms. DuPree has a private practice where she offers individual counseling and cognitive stimulation sessions to both genders.

For the past 30 years, she worked in the geriatric medical field as Administrator and Program Director for group education.

Ms. DuPree received a Masters of Social Work degree from Florida Atlantic University.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin.

She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and a former volunteer for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Domestic Violence Division.
