Kim Koslow, LMHC, CAP, CTT, BCPC
A Licensed Mental Health Counselor,
Certified Trauma Therapist & Certified Addiction Professional, Kim specialize's in Women's Issues, Recovery Coaching,
Motivational Intervention, and Outreach. Kim combines her own personal experiences with her education and training to provide
a unique blend of clinical care for individuals and families.
Often described as a
practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist, Kim's clinical approach is to provide support and pragmatic feedback that
helps clients resolve problems and move through long-standing unhealthy life patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional
and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to develop a course of action most appropriate
for each client. With sensitivity, empathy, and compassion, Kim works with each client to help them build upon their strengths
to identify and achieve their recovery goals. Kim gives back professionally by serving on various Boards including Fern House and past President
of the Board for Gratitude House, a residential treatment center for women. Kim has a long-term Relationship with Darryl & Tracy Strawberry and works
closely with the Darryl Strawberry Recovery Center's in St. Cloud & Deland, Florida.
A member of the Association of ARISE Interventionists, Kim is also a graduate of Iyanla Vanzant's Inner
Visions Institute for Spiritual Development in Maryland where she earned the Vision Award for her creation of Butterfly
House. Always working on herself and paying herself forward, Kim recently graduated from Gratitude Training Masterful
Kim is an active member of the recovery community and the founder
of Butterfly House, one of Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR) first Certified Recovery Residences' in Florida.
Kim's primary purpose in life is to "make the world glad she came" by making a difference for the better.
